About Nurtured

Hi! I’m Mary Byo. I was inspired to start Nurtured after 12 years of experience in

teaching, tutoring, and educational leadership.

Through my experience, I learned first-hand that educating children was only possible once their individual needs were identified and authentically met. Every child is unique. My passion is getting to the heart of each individual child and strategically meeting their needs in order to help them thrive.

I have also found that behind every struggling child is also a struggling parent. As a parent myself,

I understand the physical, mental, and emotional toll it takes trying to pave a path to success for our children. Parents often benefit from objective support as we establish and follow through with a plan for their child’s success in learning, and in life.
